Armadillo means "little armored one". They are super diggers! They have sharp claws that they use to dig for food or dig their dens where they live. They like to eat insects, grubs and crustaceans. Our friendly fellow looks like a 7-banded armadillo. Do you know what part of the world this type of armadillo is from? Here is a fun fact...they can hold their breath for up to 6 minutes!!! Let's get drawing!!!
